The symbol above represents hope, providence and faith, all tenents of the African Youth and Senior Relief International ("AYSRI"). We have hope for the future of Africa's youth and its seniors and truly believe in the providence of God's hand over their lives. It is our mission to provide health, education and empowerment resources to enable them to live a healthy and prosperous life.
The mission of African Youth and Senior Relief International is to provide educational and health services that will allow African kids and seniors to live a proud, healthy and prosperous life.
Our goal is to provide support by offering educational, health care and social services to a population of Africans in most need, its youth and seniors.
We aim to:
· Educate and empower the people of Africa by giving them a hand up, not a hand out. We plan not only to assist the youth and seniors of Africa but become partners with the people we serve so that they can turn around and help their neighbors. Our Country Directors have close ties in the areas they serve as mentors, role models and their brother's keeper.
· Establish a framework as to how our relationships with schools, health care centers and social service centers can benefit the people of Africa under the African Youth and Senior Relief International umbrella. Our programs are designed to improve the learning standard of schools throughout the continent of Africa; and provide medical care, social amenities, computers and learning materials, and monthly financial stipends to our seniors.
· Establish Sister-to-Sister schools which is a relationship with schools in the USA and Africa whereby similar grade level students will participate in letter writing, communicate via webcast and you-tube videos and collaborate on a variety of school projects such as fundraising, science, math and english projects.
